Crisis Response 2020: Critical Infrastructure for Wuhan
Rapid Response When It Mattered Most During the critical initial phase of the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020, time was the most valuable resource. When authorities in Wuhan began constructing two provisional emergency hospitals in record time, Huber & Ranner CN answered the call. Within just a few days, we manufactured and delivered the necessary ventilation and HVAC systems to secure the air supply for these medical facilities.
X-CARE: The Digital Game Changer Implementing complex systems under strict quarantine conditions was a logistical challenge. This is where our remote support tool, X-CARE, proved its immense value. It allowed our engineers to support the installation and commissioning digitally, ensuring fast implementation without physical presence. This project was a powerful proof of concept for our digital strategy: overcoming boundaries when onsite access is impossible.
Solidarity from Pocking Support went beyond technology. As an immediate measure of solidarity, our headquarters in Pocking organized an emergency airfreight shipment to China, supplying our colleagues and partners with thousands of FFP-2 face masks, goggles, and disinfectants.
