PORSCHE ENGINE PLANT
Huber & Ranner air handling units and systems are widely used in companies in the automotive industry. With the construction of the engine plant, Porsche is also setting a milestone in terms of sustainability.
ith the 28-hectare site of Plant 4 in Zuffenhausen, which includes the new engine plant, the sports car manufacturer has undergone DGNB certification for the first time. This makes Porsche – together with two other companies – one of the pioneers in this field, as there has never been a certification of this kind for industrial premises before.
Huber & Ranner’s air handling units and systems are widely used in companies in the automotive and automotive industry. This is also the case here at Porsche in Zuffenhausen. Maintaining a precise process air climate (e.g. in painting processes) as well as a healthy indoor climate in production is a major challenge that can only be overcome with the help of high-performance air handling units.
